Oriental Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Blepharoplasty can be performed on the lower lids, upper lids, or both to correct sagging eyelids and removal of fat deposits beneath the eyes. It can also be used to create a double fold on the upper eyelids. Fine incisions are made in the natural lines and creases of the eyelids and inside the the lower eyelids. This latter procedure is called transconjunctival blepharoplasty. No visible scar is left with this procedure.
Double Chin
Liposuction is commonly performed to correct double chins before the age of 50. After that a face lift is usually required to correct the double chin.

Liposuction
Liposuction or Lipo-sculpture (body contouring) is a safe and effective means of removing stubborn fat deposits from ares that are resistant to diet and exercise. Dr. Herbich performs the tumescent technique in which dilute local anesthetic is infiltrated into the are to be treated. This procedure has the advantage of reducing pain and bruising in the area. He prefers this technique over the internal ultrasound technique which has the great disadvantage of occasionally causing burns which may scar the area treated.
