Laser Surgery Procedures
Laser, an acronym for Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation or light, was in use for industrial purposes as early as the 1960s. Toward the end of the 1980s, the use of lasers as a pulse, emitting the energy in short flashes, made medical use of the technology workable. When lasers are used in medicine, there is little pain involved and complications are rare.
Tattoo Removal
Although tattoos have seen some social mainstreaming over the past few decades, tattoo removal has never been more popular. One the most popular reasons to remove a tattoo is the age-old situation of falling out of love; no one wants an ex's name permanantly emblazoned on their body. Dr. Herbich uses the latest laser techniques to remove tattoos without scars. Before lasers, tattoo removal techniques were much more invasive and essentially amounted to sanding, freezing and cutting. Lasers allow the doctor to direct precisely targeted light energy and which removes tattoos without cutting or sanding. The laser energy is absorbed by the tattoo ink, breaking it up so that the body's immune system can then dispose of it.

Hair Removal
Permanent hair removal is now available using laser technology! The laser covers large parts of the body quickly and without needles. Many of our patients are former electrolysis patients and remark on how much better it is (than electrolysis).
Birthmark Removal
Now it is possible to remove unwanted birthmarks such as port wine stains, nevus of Ota, cafe au lait spots, and moles.

Scar Therapy
Laser treatments can dramatically reduce scarring. This can be covered by automobile insurance if it was caused by a car accident.
Stretch Marks Treatment
Lasers may reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Dr. Herbich also recommends Retin-A tm, microdermabrasion, and tummy tucks for this age old problem.
Removal of Brown Spots/ Freckles
Creams, microdermabrasion, and lasers can remove brown spots and freckles.

Wrinkle Removal
Dr. Herbich uses lasers to vaporize skin cells and skin imperfections. These are rapidly and accurately treated one layer at a time with little or no bleeding while the underlying skin is preserved. As a result of this treatment, the patient is left with smoother, younger looking skin.
Eyeliner / Eyebrow Tattoo Removal
If you are not happy with improperly placed eyeliner / eyebrow permanent makeup - you don't have to live with it! You can have it removed with laser treatments.
